Metal promoting positive messages and motifs is a definitive indicator of unique craftsmanship, and Convictions happens to be one of the few bands out there avoiding trite lyricism and common technical work that many bands emulate today. This album speaks loud, sometimes even aggressively to ingrain. Give this one a listen, it is quite empowering. Kenny McGalem

Another strained, distraught, and raggedly beautiful effort by Convictions; they have such a remarkable way capturing emotions through sheer musicianship, and it is increasingly difficult encountering bands capable of pulling off such a feat. Convictions is unashamedly a Christian band, therefore the perceived messages have religious connotations; however, this minor facet should not dispel any reluctant listeners. Music transcends any bounds, I'm certain you will enjoy what you hear! Kenny McGalem
